Schizophrenia:
Disorder of young adults.
Initial onset in mid to late teens.
Presence of hallucinations
Delusions of persecution and hallucinations.
Bipolar disorder :
Not manifested by paranoid delusions.
Is usually accompanied by euphoria not obvious dysphoria that this man is demonstrating
Such patients are rarely threatening to others or self during their manic episode.
Delusional disorder is characterized by non – bizarre delusions of at least 1 month duration.
Additionally , patients with this diagnosis usually do not have hallucinations unless they are integral to the delusional content.
Schizoaffective disorder :
Requires a presence of schizophrenia and a manjor affective disorder.
This man doesnot require the later as there is no apparent mood disorder.
