Tree Topology
This type of topology has combined features of both bus and
star topologies.
It consists of a group of computers configured in a star
topology.
These groups are then connected to a backbone bus cable.
Advantages:
It is used for expansion of an existing network.
Disadvantages:
If the bus cable/backbone cable breaks,the entire network
fails.
It is more difficult to configure than other topologies.
