Terminology used for describing lesions of the skin:
Ulceration:
This means loss of surface of skin.
This includes the epidermis and dermis.
Pustules:
These are skin lesions that contain pus.
This can be due to bacterial infection or sterile in case of
pustular psoriasis.
Atrophy:
This means thinning of the skin.
It occurs due to loss of tissue in epidermis,dermis and
subcutaneous fat.
Lichenification
This means thickening of the skin.
It occurs due to long term rubbing on the skin and
pressure.
I know in the present world there are so many people are suffering from wrinkle. But wrinkle reduction is now easy by using a right derma roller as I have got nice results by using a derma roller and almost all of my wrinkles are almost vanished. Thanks to dermatology
